Who We Are/ Who We Serve
Founded in honor of my grandparents, Laura M. Burbridge, someone who showed up for others with patience, care, and a giving spirit, and Bishop H. Burbridge, a United States Army veteran. The LauraBishop Burbridge Foundation exists to provide practical support to veterans, neighbors, and single parents facing difficult times and is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Hiram, Georgia. We provide practical support grounded in Compassion, Dignity, and Kindness within Paulding County, Georgia.
How we help:
- Backpacks & Beyond: school supplies for elementary grades
- Bishop’s Battle Buddies: support for veterans navigating VA services and benefits
- Hearts & Harvest: holiday meal groceries for veterans, neighbors, and single parents during seasonal giving periods
- The Harvest Pantry Project: non-perishable meal kits.
