The LauraBishop Burbridge Foundation is a charitable organization founded by Kamilah J. Burbridge (Kami) in memory of her grandparents, Laura M. Burbridge and Bishop H. Burbridge. We nourish and support veterans, neighbors, and single parents through reliable food assistance and practical resources—grounded in compassion, dignity, and kindness.

We are Paulding-based and serve:

Our operating hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
To request assistance, please email us at info@laurabishopburbridgefoundation.org to receive an application. After you apply, our team will review your request and follow up by email and/or text when possible.
No. Support is dependent on donations, volunteer capacity, available resources, and delivery/pickup capacity. Applying does not guarantee assistance.
Distribution details are typically sent by email. We may also use text messaging to coordinate when needed.
Delivery is not always guaranteed. Delivery availability is determined by volunteer availability, scheduling, and resources. Approved recipients will be contacted by email and/or text with the next steps.
Notifications are sent by email with the most up-to-date details, including the date/time window, whether pickup or delivery is available, and any instructions needed for a smooth distribution.
We attempt to accommodate allergies, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences where possible, depending on inventory and available resources.

Hearts & Harvest provides groceries for a complete holiday meal (estimated $40 per family). It is only for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Bishop’s Battle Buddies supports veterans navigating VA services, including registration, medical care access, disability claims, and connecting with benefits organizations.
We welcome all types of donations, and monetary donations are especially helpful because they allow us to respond quickly to changing needs.
Commonly needed non-perishables include:
· Canned meats (tuna/chicken), beans
· Canned vegetables and fruit
· Rice, pasta, oats, cereal
· Peanut butter, crackers
· Pasta sauce, seasoning packets
· Shelf-stable milk, juice
Yes. Financial donations are always needed and help us purchase exactly what families need when they need it. We also gladly accept gift cards (grocery and general retailers) and practical supplies that support packing and distribution, such as storage bins/totes, shelving, coolers/ice packs, paper goods (napkins/paper towels), zip-top bags, foil pans, and other storage and organization items.

At this time, we do not have a formal training or background check process in place. As the Foundation grows, we may implement additional safety steps for roles that work closely with vulnerable populations.
